It became known that political prisoner and member of the Belarusian Independent Trade Union Yauheni Hovar was released after serving his sentence.
Before his arrest, Yauheni worked at the OJSC Byelorussian Steel Works in Zhlobin. He was tried together with Ihar Povarau and Aliaksandr Babrou under part 1 of article 342 of the Criminal Code. All of them are members of the Belarusian Independent Trade Union (BNP), which was liquidated by the authorities.
