The representative of the Belarusian independent trade union, Sviatlana Ushchapouskaya - head of the women's network of the Belarusian Congress of Democratic Trade Unions, coordinator of trade union education of the independent miners' trade union - will represent Belarusian women at this conference.
In her speech Sviatlana spoke about the Belarusian political prisoners, trade union women activists.
Not only in Belarus, but all over the world trade union organizations are facing enormous problems - war, the pandemic COVID -19, the cost of living crisis, the climate crisis and constant attacks on rights.
We must fight for a better here and now, and we must also fight for a better future: trade union rights, equality, climate justice, peace, democracy and human rights.
