The State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus (KGB) has updated the list of "persons involved in terrorist activities" - it includes the names of 14 more people.
Among them is Aliaksandr Kandratsiuk, a member of the Free Trade Union of Belarus (SPB). Junior researcher of the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, who is charged under three articles of the Criminal Code. Among them are "incitement of social discord," "public insult of the president and discrediting the Republic of Belarus" for comments in social networks. The court found Aliaksandr guilty and sentenced him to three and a half years in prison.
Now there are 1094 people on the "terrorist list," including 344 Belarusians. There are 1103 positions in the KGB list, but earlier 9 people were excluded from it.
Earlier it included - deputy chairman of the Belarusian Independent Trade Union, head of the primary organization of the BNP at Belaruskali Aliaksandr Mishuk and chairman of the primary trade union organization of the Free Trade Union of Metalworkers (SPM) at MAZ Artsiom Zharnak.
